JITEX 2024 Reaches Rp 12.86 T of Transaction and Investment Targets

The Jakarta International Investment, Trade, Tourism, Small and Medium Enterprise Expo (JITEX) 2024 was already officially closed. The event held since Wednesday (8/7) to Sunday (8/11) was able to collect Rp 12.86 trillion as its transaction and investment targets.

Jakarta Regional Secretary's Economy and Financial Assistant, Sri Haryati, accompanied by Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, and SME Agency Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo, said that this event can be held nicely thanks to synergy with various parties, such as the Association of Indonesian Retailers and Shopping Center Tenants (HIPPINDO), Ministries and Institutions, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) Malaysia, the Indonesian Embassy in Manila, buyers and investors, and other stakeholders.

We have succeeded in realizing the total potential value of transactions and investments in B2B (Business to Business) activities of Rp 12.86 trillion. Thanks to this extraordinary cooperation. JITEX 2024 Offers Cheap Food Product Packages

Sri added that the role of stakeholders has succeeded in bringing in extraordinary buyers and resulting in business cooperation with selected exhibitors. She emphasized that the Jakarta Provincial Government commits to compete in becoming one of the competitive global cities through the implementation of international-scale Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE), which will have a simultaneous impact on various aspects of Jakarta's economic development in the future.

There were 335 SME tenants of Jakarta product provided during JITEX 2024. Transaction of Business to Consumer (B2C) reached Rp 1,540,501,783. About 11,310 people visited the exhibition since the first day. There were also 258 buyers and investors from Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Laos, Poland, Hongkong, Philippine, China, Australia, and New Zealand.

"It is hoped that we can present more conclusive, massive, and innovative exhibitors, buyers, associations, and integration of investment, trade, tourism, and empowerment programs for MSMEs.
